The Minneapolis Boat Show and Wayzata Marine team up to fight cabin fever!

For Minnesota boaters, there's one event that helps us get through the winter!

The Minneapolis Boat Show held this past weekend was just what the doctor ordered for thousands of people suffering from cabin fever. Spending a few hours (or a few days) looking at boats and dreaming of warmer weather is proven to reduce the symptoms of the cabin fever virus. Climbing around on the newest boats, looking at the coolest new accessories and maybe even contemplating a new boat can certainly help, if only for a few fleeting moments. 

However, many people left the convention center with another serious condition; boat fever. Thankfully, boat fever is 100% curable! Wayzata Marine diagnosed and treated several people afflicted with the ailment by helping them become happy and healthy new boat owners! And to ensure that those people who have not yet taken the necessary steps to become completely free of boat fever, Wayzata Marine has replenished it's showroom with several doses of the antidote.

The boat show is the biggest event of the year for Minnesota boat dealers, and the work that goes into it is monumental. The crew at Wayzata Marine worked tirelessly to set up what was truly a magnificent display of Chaparral, Regal, Four Winns, Chris Craft and Barletta Pontoon boats.

Seeing former and current customers is always a reminder of why we do what we do. Sharing stories and catching up with families lives, kids, jobs, news and always marveling at how time flies. When you've been in business for 51 years you never know who you're going to see. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our display, it was great to see you!

After the show the gang worked through the night breaking down the display and getting the boats safely back to the showroom on Maxwell Bay on Lake Minnetonka. Blizzard conditions and sub-zero temperatures didn't slow them down and the work of putting the showroom back together is in full swing. We hope you'll come see us soon and may the winter fly by!
