Folds of Honor - Lee Brice, August 6th  

Wayzata Bay, 5-10 pm

The Folds of Honor Minnesota Chapter’s annual summer benefit concert is a private residence concert in Wayzata Bay on Lake Minnetonka featuring country music superstar, Lee Brice. Boats from all over gather in the bay to listen to the music. This year’s live music experience is in support of Folds of Honor’s mission to provide educational scholarships to the families of our nation’s injured and fallen veterans.


Rock the Lake, August 7th  

Browns Bay, 3-6 pm

This unique boat-in benefit concert will feature the explosive cover band Viva Knievel. From classic rock to modern favorites, Viva Knievel does it all with gravity-defying, no holds barred performances that will have the entire lake rockin’ and rollin’. And it’s all for a good cause, ‘MATTER’. Matter is an organization that focuses on leveraging some of Minnesota’s biggest resources: healthcare, education, and agriculture.


Concert in the Commons - 70’s Magic Sunshine Band, August 10th  

Excelsior Bay, 7-9 pm 

The Excelsior Morning Rotary Club partnered with the City of Excelsior to host free concerts in the Excelsior Commons park every other Wednesday night this summer. Food trucks and beverages are available 5-9 pm and live music is from 7-9 pm. You are able to anchor your boat in Excelsior Bay and enjoy the live music. This week’s band is the 70’s Magic Sunshine Band! 


Dog Days Westonka, August 13th  

Cooks Bay - Surfside Park, 9 am -2 pm 

Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer! Events include a pet expo with a wide array of pet products, services, and activities. Just some of the Events include Paddle Board Demonstrations with your doc, the Cutest Puppy Contest, a Pet Parade, Live music by Minnesota's popular band, "The Abiders", The Soft Serve Social Ice Cream Truck, just to name a few. Dog Days will be held on August 13, 2022 at Surfside Park and Beach in Mound from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Rolling Stoners Band, August 28th 

Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge - West Arm, 3-7 pm

Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge is one of the oldest, most well known restaurants on Lake Minnetonka. Their multi-venue, resort style setting offers something for everyone and for every occasion! They often have lakeside live music on the wharf. The Rolling Stoner’s Band is a Rolling Stones Cover Band and one of the most popular concerts of the summer! Lord Fletchers dozens of dock spaces for you to park your vessel for free. 


Artimer Market, August 31st 

Back Channel Brewery - Seton Channel, 5-8 pm

Sip & Shop Artimer Market - held on the last Wednesday of each month (May-September) - and shop over 20 different local vendors. You’ll find an array of food, art, jewelry, crafts, clothes, and more at each Artimer. In addition, they will have live outdoor music by The Chris Kelly band, and a beer tent will be posted up in the market area as you peruse & schmooze. There are four transient slips at their docks, which you will be able to park your boat in. If you see any of the four green Back Channel flags flying high, that means that there is a spot open and you can anticipate entering a slip.


James J. Hills Days, September 9-11th 

Wayzata Bay - Wayzata Public Docks, 5-10 pm

For the last 46 years this annual festival has brought the community together to celebrate Wayzata, while enjoying food, fun & family festivities! The event begins Friday with a carnival, street market, food + drink and live music. It continues on Saturday adding logrolling and fireworks to the fun. Fireworks will start at 8:45pm and will be viewable in Wayzata Bay. If you’re looking to attend the event by land you can take your boat to the Wayzata Public Docks and park for free, just be sure to get there early to reserve a spot. The event ends on Sunday with a parade from 3-4pm.


46th Annual Real Runabouts Rendezvous, September 10th 

Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge - West Arm, 9 am -3 pm

Land-O-Lakes Classic Boat Club’s annual Antique and Classic Boat Show. The boat show opens at 9:00 AM and runs until 3:00 PM, with awards at 2:30 PM at Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge.


Excelsior Apple Days, September 16-17th

Excelsior Apple Days is a coveted lakeside festival celebrating community, art, locally produced food, and a good old-fashioned street dance. Since 1935, beloved fans of Apple Days have been enjoying a day full of events - craft booths, the Happy Apple Kids Corner, food vendors, history tour, Apple Pie contests, live entertainment - from local groups to well-known bands on the big stage, and the popular beer and wine garden located in the middle of it all!
